neo game, please

I have been playing Neopets (my pets:tomra23, Neokosmik) on and off for a couple of years now, even though I am patently too old, I know - and I found & joined a similar (well, ripped-off looking, to be honest) site called AEN or Aftermath Zone today (my pet:tornadobritches). Does anyone know of any other (they don't have to be similar) online games that are free and will work on a 56kps modem & Mac OSX?

i am

playing - AEN
wearing - black & khaki, short pleat skirt, knee-high baggy black suede boots, big belt

explorer is rather pathetic...

later on I was editing my my new blog & noticed that Blogger recommended using Netscape or Explorer as there are conflict issues with Safari - well, I'd been using Safari lately as I've become fond of it since release (I use Mac OSX). So I thought oops, I'd better switch to Explorer, and, though I have it & Netscape already, I went to the Microsoft Mactopia site to download the latest version. I had the most pathetic message ever when I started to download the file - "Internet Explorer does not know what to do with this type of file...." for god's sake, IE, that "type of file" is YOU.
Anyway, installed latest version, went back to Blogger, recommenced style changes etc, and found Blogger very uncool and clunky looking, plus it kept having problems when publishing and republishing, finally hanging in a loop on my last republish. Eventually I gave up in disgust, and later on fired up Safari to view my blog, (kept being unable to view updated versions, too, in Explorer) and ended up trying to re-edit it there - well, it worked fine, didn't hang on republishing, shows up to date versions of my page, which looks cooler & curvier too!
So, cheers Blogger and Explorer for a complete waste of time! Does anyone know what these 'known conflicts' with Safari & Blogger are? Because Explorer seems to have more conflict issues to me...

good morning, its a sunny sunday and a weird day because the clocks went back one hour last night. When I was setting up my weblog I wanted to change the US time given for my first log, and it was 2am and 1am simultaneously here in the UK! I might take my daughter, Katie, to the cinema to see Finding Nemo today (I want to see Holes but she is only 5). James (my partner, her dad) is going round trying to change all the clocks & catch up with chores. He got made redundant yesterday. Maybe we won't go to the cinema. Even though its half-term holiday in Harrow this week, Finding Nemo was only on in Harrow Warner Village last week, we'd have to go on the train to Acton/Park Royal to see it & I've never been there on public transport.
I sometimes get panic attacks going somewhere I've never been on my own & we don't run a car to save money. Ah well, its a lovely day, the trees are all changing and there's lots in the streets, parks, gardens and open spaces in my area. We live opposite South Harrow tube station but the car park and Victorian station house we see are surrounded by trees, making it a lovely view the three seasons the trees are in leaf!
